Parking Break light always on?

I have a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon. The parking break light came on while driving today, and it won't go off, even when I disengage the parking break. I lifted the cover on the parking break cables (which I got replaced about 2 months ago) and they are loose (as loose as they have always been) when the break is disengaged. What could it be? Low Break fluid- with a parking break light?
