How the heck do i change myspace top friends?

i currently only have 1 top friend displayed. i have been trying to change it to more than that, but it does nothing. i should be doing it right, as i have constantly tried fixing it a gazillion times already, so i'm pretty positive it's not a problem on my end. i have another myspace account and adjusting the number of myspace top friends works on that; however, on my other account, it does not work whatsoever - and this is the account im having a problem with. i contacted myspace support, but still waiting for feedback. was hoping any others had further experience of this problem that may provide any successful guidance
