It's really hard to get into an Ivy league these days and chances don't come often to people. BUt it's more of your choice to figure out which college to choose. Contemplate for a sec and make your decision! :DDDDD But if I were you, I would definately choose Princeton. Cannot install OSX Leopard on apple emac computer?

I'm writing this on Linux where we burn cds and dvds all the time and I do have a suggestion: I recently had to go back to Windows for a week last may when my laptop was stolen and I had to wait for the ISP guys to install -- they got all hot and bothered by my brother's Mac and the impression I get is they were not about to TOUCH Linux. I found the usual Windows CD burning software problematic at best however usually there were ways to burn things I could read on reasonable OSes. Anyhow rule number one for burning a boot disk is burn it slowly. ALWAYS. 2x is best 8x max and 4x is acceptable. That minimizes the chance of data errors. Also Windows burning programs want to burn things as windows disks -- I've had ISO files which had extra data added besides the iso file -- making them pretty close to useless of course. So make SURE you are burning ONLY the iso file. If you can open your disk on tiger that is what you should do before you try to burn it. It could be one or the other of the things I mentioned. InfraRecorder, the Open Source burner which uses UNIX technology and which Ubuntu recommends is good at writing ISO files and at giving you control over the process, but the truth is I've never used it for burning it dual layer. DO NOT use Windows native software. Their proprietary/lock-in mania makes it UNRELIABLE for any reasonable OS.

Extremely dry skin, whiteheads, and blackheads.?

My facial skin is extremely dry and I am suffering from blackheads and whiteheads. The blackheads are generally localized to my T zone, with a few tered on my cheeks. The whiteheads are my real problem though, especially lately. They are on my cheeks, so they are extremely noticeable, and they are causing these awful red marks that look like acne scars. I am a 21 year old female and I have never really had any acne problems until now. I don't know what is going on, and I don't know what to do to fix it. It seems like I have tried every product out there and nothing seems to work. And my face is so dry and sensitive it is starting to peal. If someone can help me it would be greatly appreciated! Neighbours ...Difficult situation please help!?

Your question is a little unclear.. It suggest the issue is a motor home and then suggest that it is an actual home. I guess it would depend on the laws where you live and the zoning laws there. Where we live there are laws concerning zoning, so people have to file plans with the local town before they can just build a house or a motor home. The purpose of such plans is for issues like this. Where we live you have property lines, but you also have to have easements so that utility vehicles and emergency vehicles can move about properly. It would appear that the doors to these properties do not only provide conflict between you all and your neighbor, but also might provide some concern if an ambulance or other emergency vehicle had to get people in and out of these houses. Where we live there are also zoning issues concerning the number of doors or windows to a property, mostly for fire safety, so it may be that your home is also in violation of zoning issues there too. If there is only one door for an exit, that could be a safety issue if there was a fire and you all had to escape. It might benefit you to put up security cameras, or set a video camera on slow play when you are leaving your house and it appears they might cause harm to your property. Videos are always a great help to police, it shows you are not just picking on your nasty neighbor. I think you are right in using caution with these people, narcissistic people do not often comprehend what normal people say or do to them. I think you need to talk to your council and make them aware of the problem, and then see what zoning issues you have and what solution the city can work out, not just to make living there in peace, but clearly for the safety of you all. Issues on domestic violence ault, if the person wants to drop charges, how does that affect the offender?

I am a female, a wife and a mother, who got drunk one night, suspected being drugged in a bar, got violent and scratched my husband's face with no recollection whatsoever. He called the cop that night, they came and arrested me. Later on, he wanted to drop charges, asked the victim advocate to do so but they said to tell me, just go to my court date and they will probably cut me a deal. I need to know since I am waiting to finish my M.A in health science how much this will impact me in life. I've never been violent before, never hurt a single soul other than that fateful night, will I still be able to pick up with my life?

Cat cats get senile (dementia) like humans?

My kitty, Smokes, is 16 years old. He used to be an inside/outside cat (along with his sister) and jump 10 feet from a wide concrete ledge outside the window in front to go out (I kept the window open enough for the kitties to go in and out as they please in nice weather) but in the last couple of years I have been letting him out through the front door to my apt. bldg., which is about 4-5 steps down as I'm pretty sure he has arthritis, and this was becoming too hard for him. If I got wrapped up in something and didn't let him in when he wanted to, he used to still climb/jump up onto the windowsill and bang on the window. As it got warm this spring, however, the two times he was out (I let him out as usual the first time, and the second time there was a lot going on and the doors were left open, so he just went.) My problem is that he stayed gone and wouldn't come when I called him in the back yard (he doesn't go into the street) and I searched for him for about 5-6 days, and decided maybe he was sick and "went away to die" like cats are known for. Almost ALL of my neighbors speak Spanish, and I don't, so it was hard to elicit help. I am disabled and can't walk far. Anyway, my neighbor upstairs on the 3rd floor that I'm friendly with had her cat get out, and in lookinf for him, found him with smokes about 4 backyards away, so I just rushed out and picked him up and brought him home and he was purring like crazy. He had lost weight as the only thing there is to eat out there is dry food my neighbor puts out for strays. So I decided not to let him go outside alone anymore, but he got out a second time, did the same thing (he can get shelter in the 3 garages) and I was frantic, but not sure he had died, like the first time. I thought I'd put a bowl of 9-lives canned food outside the window where he used to sit when he could still jump up, and when I went out, he was just sitting right there, so I snatched him up again.My question is, as I stated, can cats get dementia in old(er) age? It seems like he's happy to be outside, but is either deaf now or just ignoring me, and I can't go downstairs every 5 minutes to see if he's around. I probably should be vigilant about making sure he can't get out, but I'm wondering in changes in his behavior. The second time he was out, my ex husband (who he adores, I just am there to feed him and pet him when he wants when "Dad's" not around.) He likes, me okay, but when Lloyd saw him this last time on Saturday (he'd been out since Thursday) he ran away from him. Can anybody give me any ideas about what's happening with him? I've never had a cat act like this before, except when I was real little (like 3 or 4, we had a cat who had been in a cat fight and was older, and my mother explained that often cats "go away to die." I am on a fixed income and can only afford (barely and with the help of my ex husband) to take him to the Vet once a year to make sure his shots are up to date and a cursory exam - (It still costs about $175.00!) please someone help if anyone reads this. i feel different from everyone, not in the way that you probably think (im not an outcast). i have my friends, function more than well in society, considered attractive,etc, very intelligent especially with people skills but i feel 'deeper' than most people. when people feel good or happy or in the dumps i feel that same emotion, magnified times ten. i am not just making this up, i talk to my peers and they admit to not thinking in the same way as i describe. i am not saying i am better than anyone, soemtimes i wish i was normal, i wish i didn't overthink stuff and feel so deeply about absolutely everything. i think of love, life, thoughts, emotions constantly. driving on the highway seems average to most, i see colors and beauty in it all. a three hour plane ride i see everyone keeping busy in books, newspaper (i think thats awesome) but i stare out the window and try to see down below and just think of life. i am said to have high intelligence i dont know if that has something to do with how i feel but it's just getting tougher and tougher because i search for answers all the time. i feel severe motivation, there is something inside of me waiting to be unleashed and i'm trying to figure it out all the time. heart to hearts with people are everything to me. i like to dig beyond the surface. i feel the worlds pain every single day. any thoughts? i don't know what the hell is wrong with me but i need answers i dont feel normal, i knew i was different from day one and have loved every minute of it but...

Parking Break light always on?

I have a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon. The parking break light came on while driving today, and it won't go off, even when I disengage the parking break. I lifted the cover on the parking break cables (which I got replaced about 2 months ago) and they are loose (as loose as they have always been) when the break is disengaged. What could it be? I would have to agree that the .50 cal Barret is probably the best because of its range, and accuracy with the "floating" barrel, however the .338 Lapua Magnum has a lot of range (more than the 7.62), and also has a very flat trajectory, and is lighter to carry. The .50 to me would still take top prize but the .338 would run a close second. Also the .408 Cheytac M200 Intervention, is relatively new and has hopes of taking the cake in the near future...It boasts many new world records, so we'll see. At the present the top in my opinion still goes to the Barret .50 Cal

You don't download 10.5. You might as well ask how you download a Windows XP to Windows Vista update. It's a major upgrade that was paid and required you to get the disc. You'll have to get one, and make sure it's a retail copy. You cannot run iTunes without it, period.

The car started up fine and ran fine. when we went to drive it, it randomly stalled when the drivers door shut. It fired right back up tho. then we took it for about a mile spin. I drove the car just to turn around in a culdesac( i currently dont have my license i just wanted to see what no power steering was like.) When i was turning around the car tried to stall once or twice in the low RPM's. Like i said the car ran fine and pulled hard, we hit about 70 on a short stretch but we couldnt take it on the highway because it is uninsured. the car is inspected until 9 of this year. I really like the car, it is very clean and has no honda cancer,but the stalling scares me. Obama says no taxes on those making less than $250,000. Why is no one mentioning that when the Bush Tax cuts expire, we will all realize tax increases. Inaction is a tax increase. Do all DL discs have different layer break numbers?

Do certain types of Dual Layer discs have there own layer break numbers? Because my burner wont burn them. I use Memorex not verbatim by the way. Never tried Verbatim to be honest. Anyway the disc stops burning around 47 percent, that's the highest percentage it has ever got to. And It's pretty annoying. Thank you all for your help

Should a 16 boy be charged as an adult for a non-violent crime?

A 16 year old is charged with lewd and lecivious conduct with a girl who called him, asked him to come to her house, her "myspace" said she was 16, she turned out to be 14 at the time. Ten months later he is charged, the juvenile courts say they don't have the resources to handle it and he is now going to be tried as adult with the maximum charge of life in prison facing him. Very upset and unsettled baby..i need advice?

My 3 month old daughter has always been very loud..she cries all the time even though all her basic needs have been met.I have taken her to at least three different doctors who all tell me its in my head and their is nothing wrong with her. But i do not think it is normal for her to scream and cry as much as she does.. to me she sounds like she is pain her scream is blood curdling. I have done everything i can think of to try and help her. She has been diagnosed with reflux but that has been dealt with she is on medication and a thicker formula and it seems to have gotten alot better... but she is still crying..has anyone else been through this? did you find anything that helps. it is heartbreaking to see her upset all the time

How to become and engineer?

I'm wanting to become a biomedical engineer specifically a neural engineer. And even more specifically, I would like to research brain computer interfacing or neuroprosthetics. I understand that typically this requires a graduate degree, but is it AT ALL possible to go into this field without a grad degree? Does anyone have experience with cats having seizures from anesthesia?

My 11 yr old female cat recently had a routine teeth cleaning where she underwent anesthesia. I have put in a call to my vet to find out which ones they used. She was fine before she went in and fine when she got home. But 2 days later, I came home to find her very lethargic and hiding in the corner of my closet. She has a history of irritable bowel disease so I thought it was related to that and rushed her to the vet. They found nothing wrong with her and gave her some fluids just in case she wouldn't drink water and a vitamin B shot for her lethargy. As soon as we got home (20 mins later) she backed out of her carrier and immediately started seizing. I had never seen her do that before. I rushed her to yet another vet who did blood work and found nothing. 2 vets later, 2 24 hour seizure watches (with no more episodes), blood work, xray and ultrasound were inconclusive. I can't believe this has nothing to do with the anesthesia. Seems far too coincidental.

i took hip hop along with jazz modern ballet and tap when i was 13. I went to a really advanced school so i was really behind, but i caught up and it was the best decision ever. I love hiphop! you dont really have to preform solo and in a typical hiphop cl you dance.

Why can't I get wireless even though the signal is strong?

I have an XPS M1210 with Intel Proset Wireless. I get an excellent signal (11.0 Mbps) from our Netgear MR814v2 router but I can't actually get on the internet. We even tried adding a pword so the wireless wasn't poached by neighbors. Nothing helps. Anyone know what's wrong?? Thanks!!

Autopsy not performed by the Hospital like it was requested, what can be done?

I have someone close to me who delivered her baby at 20 weeks and the baby was not alive upon delivery. She requested an autopsy and even signed the paper for one. She just recieved her reports from the hospital today, a 75 page report, with nothing in there about an autopsy at all. She chose to have the baby cremated. She has the papers showing the cremation,but no autopsy report. She is very upset. I thought the hospital HAD to perform an autopsy in situations like that, especially since she signed a paper requesting one.

Which mall is better in the Michigan area?

I live in Canada but I can cross the border and be in Michigan. Most people I know go shopping at Somerset Mall. My mom doesn't know her way around Michigan too well so we don't go there. Should fetal movement be felt all over or only on one side or the other?

My baby moves a lot, and for that, I am thankful! But I don't know if I should be worried or not b/c I only feel her move mostly on my right side or right top, near the ribs. I don't feel as much movement on my left side. My stomach often looks lopsided on the right side as well. Could it be that the right side is just where she's decided to hang out? Kind of hard to tell from the pictures and if they are moles you will see raised sections in your yard where the moles/voles are burrowing. You did not mention chipmunks which dig a hole about the same size as well as the snakes. There is a bomb type thing you put in the holes you see to get rid of the critters and also a powdered product called Snake Ender to deter the snakes. Have tried them both and they work.

PMs affect each one of us in a different way, some have mood swings, some have nothing. It is hard to control a mood swing... PMs can affect the mood and give somewhat of a mood swing. If it happens no more than a week per month, and it is always following the week it should be from one month to the other, then she probably has mood swings due to her PMs. But otherwise, it may be something else. My prince sits cowering, hands over his pointed ears, knees drawn up to his chest. All around him raindrops beat the earth like a drum, sending dirt pluming skyward. The motes of dust threaten to choke my faerie, and he shivers beneath a mushroom cap, teeth clenched as explosions in the sky meet with streaks of lightning. Minutes p but to the prince time slows to a near standstill. The booms grow distant as rain falls with less ferocity. My faerie gathers courage and opens his eyes, jaw aching as he becomes aware of how taut he'd held is muscles. Looking up, he sees the horizon growing lighter, the heavy purple receding, and he thinks, surely I have ped the night here. My prince wrinkles his nose in distaste as he looks around at the aftermath of mud and floating debris. The water rises higher and pushes against his thighs as the packed ground loses the battle to absorb much needed moisture. Frantic now and muttering a string of high pitched curses, my princes casts around for anything to hold on to. His tiny hands brush against a birch leaf and he climbs into its center, his weight forcing the edges of the leaf to stretch upwards, sealing off the outside world. Taking off his sodden tunic, my prince reclines in his floating haven, hands supporting his tired head. The rocking motion makes my little faerie quite sleepy and he drifts for a time, unaware of his destination. Slowly the water recedes, leaving my prince afloat on his vessel, beneath a canopy of forest. Droplets of water make their way along the veins of overhead leaves, pooling together until their weight becomes too great to bear. The complete silence is broken only by the sounds of dripping vegetation and tiny snores. One such droplet sails through the air, catching my sleeping prince square in the face, shocking him from his dreaming. My faerie sits up, alarm setting his nerves afire as he fails to realize where he is in this world of green. Standing now, my faerie loses his footing, tumbling into the clear pool of rainwater. Fully awake, he opens his eyes, taking in the shimmering greens and blues. His eyes begin to sting, but he keeps them open, curiosity outweighing discomfort. His gaze falls upon a tiny piece if light. Metal perhaps. Kicking towards it, he manages to grab it before the lack of air forces him to the surface. He clambers onto dry ground, examining his trophy. Delighted, he jumps up and down. Why, it was a sword! Feeling the edge of the needle and finding it smooth puzzles him and he reconsiders his object. Well, whatever it was, it was shiny, pretty and a glorious plaything. Starting to walk east, my prince barely contains his wonder. Each blade of gr is crowned with a bead of water. Rainbows seem to mock him as they flash and disappear when he tries to focus on one in particular. The sky slowly grows dark, my prince was mistaken, banishing the prisms but welcoming the stars. My prince stumbles about, creating wonderful stories for each of the night lights, stories he'd one day whisper into the ear of a child. Craning his neck, the stars wink and merge together into a heavenly blanket as finally all the clouds are carried away.

So these girls were getting all flirty and I tried to pull myself away (Making excuses) but they were all holding me back, feeling my muscles (I have very small ones anyway!), stroking my chest. well all I have are Hyde's. they are always arguing, so I often feel stuck and unable to take action because of it. One is an animalistic hedonist the other a crazy and dramatic existentialist with a god complex. You may want to change your schedule so you have a better time to focus on chemistry. What products and methods should I use on my blonde, fragile, abormally frizzy, curly hair?

My hair is not normal. I have what is affectionately referred to as a "Jew 'fro". But it's much frizzier and tighter curled, than the average Jewish curly mane. It's this uncontrollable, erratic, frizzy Z curl that I can do nothing with! It's extremely course. It feels like fibergl. Constantly tangles! (My hair is long. Short becomes an afro.) I always use either moisturizing or anti-frizz shampoos and conditioners and leave-in conditioners and anti-frizz treatments and they don't help. I also don't wash my hair every day as that would be too drying. I'm at a loss. My hair is also very fragile and breaks constantly, even with a wide toothed comb. Potty training a chiweenie?

I just got a 6 month old chi weenie. I am having a hard time with her going to potty outside since the weather is getting cold. What do you need to raise African Clawed frog tadpoles?

A question, did you use water from the taps to refill that tubaware because if you did, tadpoles are very vulnerable to the chemicals used in tapwater. Also after a month you may want to put a heat lamp slightly above the water so it heats up a little. Also you may want to add a rock or somthing that the tadpoles can climb up on when they start to from legs. Hope this helps!

I have an audition for School of American Ballet Summer Intensive coming up and I'm extremely nervous. I have a curvy body type (my measurements are 35 inches in my bust, 27 inches in my waist, 34 inches in my hips, I have long arms and legs, a short torso, a big head, I have a lot of muscle m, and i weigh 120 lbs and I'm 5'3'). I have a good extension, wide and long feet, Medium/high arches, a big bump on top of my foot and I'm 5'3'. I'm a very good dancer but I'm afraid they won't accept me for my body type. I've dealed with anorexia in the past (although I'm 14) so i could be the smallest in the cl. I ended up earning myself bone and muscle problems from malnutrition and I had to be taught to accept my body.

I am confused about my degree??

I've checked everything I can think of, had it tested at AutoZone, they came up with zilch. I have checked wire connections in the taillights. I could honestly not tell you exactly, but I know that your firing rate is multiplied by 2 on double tap for a standard ault, and it reduces on both sides, for instance a sniper will still only fire one bullet at a time, and a P90 will still only let off that amount of bullets. Your stopping power gives roughly a 25% increase on all guns no matter what, so generally it would be wasted on a sniper because if you are confident enough to be using a Druganov then it is probably because you are good with head shots (one shot kills etc) and is better suited to a gun like the AK, P90 because you are now firing a barrage of very effective bullets in the general direction of your target.

I had a conversation with my friend about this. I used to think that it was best to stay informed but sometimes I'm not so sure. I have donated money and time to charities and I vote in local and national elections but sometimes it feels pretty useless. No matter who you vote for (left, right or independent) when they get into office money exchanges hands and they no longer stick to their views they campaigned on due to being bought off by interest groups involved with wealthy corporations. There are horrors going on around the world that I can do nothing about aside from giving some money. It seems that coming "unplugged" from current events might truly be bliss. Being ignorant might truly be worthwhile because being informed and not truly able to change anything gives one a feeling of hopelessness and helplessness. My friend says if you are informed you can change things, but can you really? Old systems of corruption are in play and it's truly hard to change a "well oiled machine". Why did my dogs grey and auburn hair grow back black with a different texture?

I had to be careful when I was showing my silver standard, Any injury would cause the coat to come in black (she was born black and changed to silver ) and it was a different texture too. It would take 18 months for the area to go back to normal (if at all). The colour is darker because the area was injured so more oxygen got to that area to aid in healing. It is very common and if the skin is damaged it may not go back to the regular colour.

my best friend is only 13 and has had a hard time at school ever since i met her. she got into alot of trouble with naked pictures she carelessly sent to various "boyfriends" which were sent around loads of schools. she was never really popular within school and had the reputation as a bit of a slag but now its like she'll do anything to become popular. she told a girl in a more popular group that she has with her then boyfriend and whilst on a school holiday the girl told everyone and openly admitted she pretended to be friends with my best friend just to get gossip. my best friend is now trying to cosy up all in their group and was smoking and drinking with them just to fit in. its like she has no self respect to go with people who openly backstabbed her. today at school she got into a "fight" (more like her trying to look hard) with a girl in an older year. we go to private school and things like that dont happen very often so now everyones all hyped up thinking its the most amazing thing to ever and all attentions on her. i still really love her and i can tell she still wants to be my friend but i hate to see her faking it in this group with a girl who a couple of weeks ago had her in tears. i never really understood peer pressure before but now i really do, everyones smoking and drinking and its like if you dont do those things your not in with everyone else. what should i do or should i just stick it out? i know its not wise, but should i start too?

Many children are born with some sort of physical malady and other siblings are not. it's very common. I am one of 12 children. I was born with a rare pancreas disease for which I had 8 hrs surgery as an adult with plastic tubes etc. None of my siblings were born with this, my parents have no history of this either. Some where in our genetics line, someone was suffering with this and I received that nasty recessive gene. Your mom's age has no bearing on the births. Women have been know to give birth a lot later in life. My mom was 42 when the last child was born. Look at this way, you're unique, I know you don't like it but it makes you special. Kicking your mom's abdomen also would have no bearing on this. The fetus is so protected by amniotic fluid, the most that would have happened was a floating around and like you said. a 7 yr. old kicking, I'm sure it wasn't hard. No, I don't believe this could have been prevented. Your mom is not at fault nor your dad. it's just a fluke of nature and you are among very special and unique people. Not something I want to claim fame for, but I too am like you. I don't wonder why though. I've accepted it. I will say this,,,I also had an identical twin. She died shortly after birth. Go figure.

Deleting internet browsing history for good.?

I am giving my old pc to a family member. I was wondering if there is a way to permanently delete my internet browsing history, specifically email and facebook related things (pwords etc.), purchase history (credit card info...), and sites visited. I am not worried about deleting any doents (my pictures or word doents) or programs, but I would like to make sure that my internet history is gone for good. I often delete it from the toolbar (cookies, temp internet files, forms…the whole nine yards), but I know that it's still on my hard drive. I am willing to physically purchase a disk from a store like Best Buy (not an online retailer), but I would prefer a free, safe way to do it. I’m currently using Vista and Internet Explorer. By the way, I know that the feds and computer forensic experts can always recover it, you don’t have to tell me that, but there is nothing shameful, embarring, or incriminating in my Internet history, I just don’t want any personal info available.

The writing is better than good but - there's always a but isn't there? The "I'm Ally" introduction is not a good idea here because it reduces the amount of scope you have. I was also lost when you said; "The school bell rang to signal the end of school etc" as I were not aware they were actually at school. Also; "Mrs M repeated her crude statement yet again etc" what crude statement? I don't remember reading one. Finally where on earth were they going that "the blighters have already stolen our spot." When a different person speaks it is better to write that on a separate line. As I have already said - this is a good piece of writing but make sure the reader knows where you are going otherwise you will only cause confusion. Good luck with your story and well done with the writing style it is very readable.

I have just spent an hour on hold trying to get through to Natwest. My family and I went out for dinner tonight when we got the bill I gave my Natwest debit card to pay. It was declined repeatedly. I knew there was money in the account so could not understand what was going on. Anyway I had my visa card with me so I thought I will pay with that and then transfer the money from my bank account into my visa account as soon as I get home.As I know this will put my card over its limit. I cannot get onto online banking so I ring them and an hour later I get put through to someone who does not even apologise for keeping me waiting. It transpires that the whole of Natwest is down. Noone can pay for anything noone can get money out etc...Can I make them pay the charges if I go over my credit card limit? Also if I cannot access my account tomorrow what am I going to do as not even the branches will be able to access accounts. Natwest are really really rude. Please advise.....

well, I have always dreamed of performing on Broadway. Right now I am 13. I have very little acting experience. I have been in local plays like Bye Bye Birdie where I played the role of the Sad Girl. Modern Warfare 2 Help: Best weapons/perks for level prestige 25?

I just pick one weapon and max it out then I pick another. Right now my weapon of choice is the FMAMS, it only shoots in about 6 round bursts but it takes um out in one shot. But it’s a weapon you can’t just run thru the level with you have to be good and quick at aiming. And most the time I only use the red dot sight. It does the same thing as the holograph but the dots much smaller. And marathon with sleight of hand. And claymores I just put them where ever I’m running. Most likely every one runs in the same area ya know. And its lees expected. And when I’m dyeing a lot and I get frustrated I use the mg4, when you have to absolutely mow down every one in a room. You have to run for cover when you re load but it’s a 100 round clip. I had a 40 kills with that once. P90s another good one more of a close weapon but it shoots a but load of ammo and it reloads fast. Grate game

recently i had a torrent downloading on utorrent and left it on over night, i knew it was safe because my friend told me to download it and since it takes really long, about 1day i should just leave it on over night like he did, so i did and the next morning my screen saver was on and i moved to mouse to turn it off, when i did nothing showed but my background image, no icons no start bar nothing, and no its not where you can make the start bar hide its just all froze up, but whats even weirder is that i can still access all of my programs i just have to use ctr+alt+del, so what do i do to fix this or do i have to re install windows?

I like the pace, it's very quick. It's got that sense of chaotic panic - great for battle scenes. The genre isn't usually my cup of tea but you defiantly draw your audience in. The only thing I would say is cut down on the adjectives and adverbs - being a creative writing student, I'm taught to write minimally - cut down the exclamation marks and the 'bellowed', 'screamed', 'panted' e.t.c - 'he said', 'she said' will do just fine :)
