Is an orangutan stronger than a chimpanzee?

Orangutans are stronger than chimps. Full grown male orangutans are also territorial. They can indeed inflict life-threatening injuries to other males when fighting for dominance. The orangutans and chimps used in movies are mostly juveniles. They are much easier to control. Adult chimps and orangutans, especially males, can be dangerous.
