Stupid Itunes update, wtf?

Ok basically you know how every like 2 weeks they come out with a new update for itunes. well anyway i use xp and one of the toolbars on the task bar is the itunes tool bar but the new update has screwed it up and it no longer works. so i try to use the add-on Foxy Tunes (Firefox) and that don't work ether. anybody help? drives me nuts to have to switch back to itunes to change one small thing like the song while im surfing.
