Is this writing sample OK?

I like the pace, it's very quick. It's got that sense of chaotic panic - great for battle scenes. The genre isn't usually my cup of tea but you defiantly draw your audience in. The only thing I would say is cut down on the adjectives and adverbs - being a creative writing student, I'm taught to write minimally - cut down the exclamation marks and the 'bellowed', 'screamed', 'panted' e.t.c - 'he said', 'she said' will do just fine :)
