Famous people who have suffered from depression?

This may come out horrible, but I must say it's kind of cool to see that some of the coolest people (in my opinion) in history have suffered through what I have. I don't mean that in such a bad way, but more like, they had depression and they became great people. It seems to add a little more hope for the rest of us.
